Sebastian Stan undergoes a life-changing facial procedure in A Different Man trailer

The official trailer for A Different Man is here.

The dark comedy-drama sees Emmy nominee Sebastian Stan (I, Tonya, Pam & Tommy) don heavy prosthetics for one of his most challenging roles so far.

Written and directed by Aaron Schimberg (Chained for Life), the plot follows a man with neurofibromatosis who undergoes facial reconstructive surgery for a new start in life. However, he soon becomes fixated on a man playing him in a stage production based on his former life.

Stan is joined in the film by BAFTA nominated actress Renate Reinsve (The Worst Person in the World, Presumed Innocent) and actor and disability campaigner Adam Pearson (The Skin I Live In, Chained for Life), who has neurofibromatosis himself.

As of now, there is no UK release date for the film, though it is due to hit US cinemas on 20 September.
