The official trailer for I Swear has arrived.
Written and directed by Kirk Jones (Waking Ned, Nanny McPhee), the biographical comedy-drama delves into the world of Tourette’s Syndrome and has already generated positive early buzz.
The film explores the chaotic life of Scottish activist John Davidson and his struggles with Tourette’s that would later inspire him to teach people about his condition.
Robert Aramayo (The King’s Man, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power) portrays the older John, with the younger version played by newcomer Scott Ellis Watson.
Additionally, the rest of the film’s cast includes Maxine Peake (The Theory of Everything, Funny Cow), Shirley Henderson (Bridget Jones series, Stan & Ollie), Steven Cree (Outlander, Outlaw King) and Peter Mullan (My Name Is Joe, Tyrannosaur).
I Swear will be released in UK cinemas on 10 October.
