A chilling trailer has landed for 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple.
Helmed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman, The Marvels), the upcoming post-apocalyptic horror sequel comes off the back of its recent predecessor 28 Years Later, which made a big impression on critics and audiences back in June.
The story follows on from the events of the previous instalment as Dr. Ian Kelson finds himself in a shocking new relationship with consequences that could change the world, while Spike’s encounter with Sir Jimmy Crystal becomes a nightmare he can’t escape.
As expected, Ralph Fiennes and teenage star Alfie Williams reprise their respective roles as Dr. Kelson and Spike, and are joined by fellow returnees Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Jamie), Jack O’Connell (Sir Jimmy Crystal), Emma Laird (Jimmima), and Erin Kellyman (Jimmy Ink).
It has also been widely speculated that Oscar winner Cillian Murphy will finally appear in the film as Jim, the central character of the original cult classic 28 Days Later (2002).
In the meantime, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple is scheduled for release in the UK on 6 January 2026.
