A spooky new trailer has arrived for Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
The long-anticipated sequel to the hit 1988 horror comedy features the welcoming return of Michael Keaton as eccentric ghost Beetlejuice alongside a mix of familiar faces and newcomers.
Helmed again by Burton, the plot sees three generations of the Deetz family return to Winter River after an unexpected tragedy. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter Astrid accidentally opens a portal to the Afterlife that brings more mayhem from the mischievous demon.
From the original film, Keaton is joined by fellow returnees Winona Ryder as Astrid Deetz and Catherine O’Hara as Delia Deetz.
Additionally, the sequel also welcomes Wednesday star Jenna Ortega as Astrid Deetz as well as fellow franchise newcomers Justin Theroux (The Leftovers, White House Plumbers), Monica Bellucci (Shoot ‘Em Up, Skyfall), Arthur Conti (House of the Dragon) and Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man, Poor Things).
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will arrive in UK cinemas on 4 September.
