A steamy new trailer has arrived for Wuthering Heights.
Helmed by visionary filmmaker Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman, Saltburn), the upcoming psychological drama offers a new take on the acclaimed 1847 novel by Emily Brontë.
Set against the backdrop of the Yorkshire moors, the story explores the intense and destructive relationship between doomed lovers Catherine “Cathy” Earnshaw and Heathcliff.
Hollywood big-guns Margot Robbie (I, Tonya, Barbie) and Jacob Elordi (Euphoria, Saltburn) take centre stage as leading protagonists Cathy and Heathcliff respectively, with their younger selves portrayed by newcomer Charlotte Mellington, and recent Emmy-winning sensation Owen Cooper (Adolescence, Film Club).
Additionally, the rest of the film’s cast includes Hong Chau (Downsizing, The Whale) as Nelly Dean, Shazad Latif (Toast of London, Magpie) as Edgar Linton and Alison Oliver (Best Interests, Saltburn) as Isabella Linton.
This latest adaptation is hoping to make a big splash with critics and audiences despite mixed reviews from an early test screening, with one comment referring to it as “aggressively provocative”.
In the meantime, Wuthering Heights will be released in the UK on 13 February 2026.
