The official trailer has arrived for Hawkeye.

The upcoming Marvel spinoff is the FOURTH television series to come out of the MCU this year, following the recent successes of WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki.

Created by Jonathan Igla (Mad Men, Masters of Sex), the plot sees former Avenger Clint Barton forced to work with young archer Kate Bishop when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail the lead-up to Christmas.

Once again, Jeremy Renner reprises his role as Hawkeye and is joined by Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit, The Edge of Seventeen) as aspiring superhero Kate Bishop.

Additionally, the rest of the ensemble cast includes Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air, Bates Motel), Fra Fee (Les Misérables, Animals), Tony Dalton (Sense8, Better Call Saul), Zahn McClarnon (Bone Tomahawk, Westworld), Brian d’Arcy James (Spotlight, 13 Reasons Why) and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez.

Conceived as a six-part series, Hawkeye will premiere its first two episodes on Disney+ from 24 November.
