A tense trailer has been unveiled for After the Hunt.

Directed by renowned filmmaker Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name, Challengers), the upcoming drama is tipped to make a big splash on the awards circuit later this year.

The plot centres on an experienced college professor who is forced to grapple with a dark secret from her past when a star student levels an accusation against one of her colleagues.

Oscar winner Julia Roberts (Pretty Woman, Erin Brockovich) tackles the lead role and is joined by Emmy winner Ayo Edebiri (The Bear, Bottoms), Andrew Garfield (Hacksaw Ridge, Tick, Tick…Boom!), Michael Stuhlbarg (A Serious Man, Call Me By Your Name), and Chloë Sevigny (Boys Don’t Cry, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story).

As of now, there is no official UK release date for the film, though it will arrive in US cinemas on 10 October.
