A creepy trailer has premiered for Weapons.

The upcoming supernatural horror is the latest film to come from the creative mind of Zach Cregger after the commercial and critical success of his previous effort Barbarian (2022).

The plot centres on a community who find themselves questioning the circumstances that have led to the disappearance of all but one child from the same classroom on the same night.

Josh Brolin (No Country for Old Men, Milk) and Julia Garner (Ozark, Wolf Man) lead the film’s cast alongside Alden Ehrenreich (Hail, Caesar!, Fair Play), Austin Abrams (Paper Towns, Euphoria), Cary Christopher (Mr. Mom, Days of Our Lives), Toby Huss (Carnivàle, Dickinson), Benedict Wong (Sunshine, Doctor Strange) and Amy Madigan (Twice in a Lifetime, Field of Dreams).

Weapons will be released in the UK on 8 August.
