A tense new trailer has landed for A House of Dynamite.
The upcoming political thriller is the latest big-screen offering from Oscar-winning filmmaker Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty) and recently earned strong reviews at the Venice International Film Festival.
The plot focuses on various U.S. officials of the White House as they scramble to deal with an incoming nuclear missile launched by a foreign power at the city of Chicago.
Idris Elba (Luther, Beasts of No Nation) and Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible series, Silo) lead the film’s impressive cast which also includes Gabriel Basso (Hillbilly Elegy, The Night Agent), Jared Harris (Mad Men, Chernobyl), Tracy Letts (Lady Bird, Ford v Ferrari), Anthony Ramos (In the Heights, Twisters), Moses Ingram (The Queen’s Gambit, Obi-Wan Kenobi), Jonah Hauer-King (The Little Mermaid, The Tattooist of Auschwitz), Greta Lee (The Morning Show, Past Lives), Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty, Oppenheimer), Kaitlyn Dever (Detroit, The Last of Us) and Renée Elise Goldsberry (The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, Hamilton).
A House of Dynamite will be released in UK cinemas on 3 October before streaming on Netflix from 24 October.
