Two of Hollywood’s most talented (and dare I say handsome) actors in Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper have both made huge ground in their careers in recent years and are now squaring off against one another in the excellent trailer for Derek Cianfrance’s The Place Beyond the Pines.

The film sees Gosling (Half Nelson, Drive) reunite with his Blue Valentine director Cianfrance as he plays a motorcycle stuntman who turns to crime in order to make a living to support his newborn son.

Eva Mendes (Stuck on You, Ghost Rider) plays his ex who questions his commitment to the child. Cooper (The Hangover, Silver Linings Playbook) stars as an ambitious policeman who finds himself locking horns with Gosling.

Rose Byrne (Adam, Bridesmaids) and Ray Liotta (Goodfellas, Wild Hogs) co-star in the crime drama which is due out in the UK on April 12th 2013.
