Despite dominating the worldwide box-office last year, Fifty Shades of Grey has found itself on the receiving end of Hollywood’s stinker awards, the Razzies!

The big-screen adaption of EL James‘ erotic romance novels has landed five accolades which include Worst Actor and Actress for leading stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as well as Worst Screen Combo and Worst Screenplay.

Bizarrely, it tied the Worst Picture award with the Marvel superhero flop Fantastic Four which also picked up Worst Director for Josh Trank and Worst Remake or Sequel.

Last year’s Best Actor Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne had the misfortune of being named Worst Supporting Actor for his role in the fantasy disappointment Jupiter Ascending.

The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cucuo clinched Worst Supporting Actress for her roles in the Alvin and the Chipmunks sequel Road Chip as well as the rom-com The Wedding Ringer.

Finally, previous Razzie favourite Sylvester Stallone clinched another key award prior to tonight’s Academy Awards ceremony by winning the Razzie Redeemer gong for his Oscar-nominated role in the boxing drama Creed.
