A few years after her reported spat with Transformers director Michael Bay, leading actress Megan Fox looks to have put aside her differences with the film-maker by agreeing to star in his reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Bay, who also directed The Rock (1996) and Pearl Harbor (2001), confirmed in a brief statement on his official website that Fox would be returning to work with him.
“TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!”
Fox’s role has not yet been confirmed though she could be playing reporter April O’Neil in the new big-screen adventure. Bay is producing the film with directing duties being handed to Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles, Wrath of the Titans).
Filming will begin on the project in April with the release date being May 14th, 2014.
