Mark Wahlberg and ‘Ted’ return to cause havoc in Ted 2 trailer

Almost three years ago, Seth MacFarlane showed his capabilities of making hilarious work aside from the animated series Family Guy with his hit comedy Ted.

MacFarlane’s vocal performance as the foul-mouthed teddy bear was hugely appreciated by audiences which has led to him returning to the character for the upcoming sequel, Ted 2.

Its full trailer has finally been released online.

The film sees Mark Wahlberg (The Departed, The Gambler) reprise his role as John Bennett as he attempts to help his pal Ted by becoming a sperm donor for the bear and his new wife Tami-Lynn. However Ted must prove that he’s a person in a court of law.

Original stars Mila Kunis (Family Guy, Black Swan) and Sam L. Jones (Flash Gordon) will make brief appearances in the sequel along with more prestige names like Morgan Freeman (The Shawshank Redemption, The Dark Knight trilogy), Amanda Seyfried (Mamma Mia!, Les Miserables) and Liam Neeson (Schindler’s List, Taken trilogy).

The latter two cast members both appeared in MacFarlane’s 2014 western A Million Ways to Die in the West which ended up being a critical flop and recently received several Razzie nominations.

The writer/director will be hoping for a vast improvement when Ted 2 hits cinemas on June 26th.
