Colin Farrell pursues Jessica Chastain in official trailer for Liv Ulmann’s Miss Julie

The irresistible Jessica Chastain has been out of the cinematic limelight for a while now but like 2011, the red-haired beauty is set for another bumper year of films.

With recent trailers released for upcoming films like The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby and Interstellar, the Oscar-nominated actress is now appearing in the preview for another intriguing production, Miss Julie.

The steamy period drama unveiled its official trailer earlier today:

Directed by Liv Ullmann (Persona, Cries and Whisphers), the film sees Jessica play the daughter of a wealthy landowner who finds herself indulging in a tragic affair with her father’s valet, played by Golden Globe-winner Colin Farrell (In Bruges, Saving Mr Banks).

British actress Samantha Morton (Minority Report, In America) co-stars in the drama which is the latest big-screen adaptation of August Strindberg’s 1888 play.

Miss Julie has yet to be given an official release date but could be out in cinemas during awards season.
