An all-star cast help Will Smith to deal with grief in Collateral Beauty trailer

The last year has seen Will Smith regain his box-office mojo after his recent appearances in the medical drama Concussion (2015) and this year’s super-villain blockbuster Suicide Squad.

But now, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Independence Day star is leading an all-star cast for the upcoming drama Collateral Beauty.

Scheduled for a Christmas release, the film’s official trailer is now available for all to see.

Helmed by David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada, Marley & Me), the story sees Smith play a successful New York advertising executive whose life takes a heartbreaking turn when he is forced to deal with a tragic loss. However his colleagues and friends decide to conjure up a plan to help him confront his grief in a profoundly human way.

Smith is supported by a strong award-worthy cast which includes British actresses Keira Knightley (Atonement, The Imitation Game), Naomie Harris (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Spectre), Kate Winslet (Titanic, Steve Jobs) and Dame Helen Mirren (The Queen, Trumbo) plus Edward Norton (Fight Club, Birdman), Michael Pena (Ant-Man, The Martian) and Jacob Latimore (Ride Along, The Maze Runner).

Collateral Beauty will be released in the UK on the 30th of December.
